Spring Break

-Complimentary Aquarium and IMAX Tickets Provided for Families-

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (February 8, 2012) -- Chattanooga’s only AAA Four Diamond-rated full-service hotel, The Chattanoogan, is offering families an affordable and fun getaway for Spring Break. When booking a two-night stay at the upscale hotel during Spring Break, families will receive complimentary tickets for two adults and two children to the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX 3D Theater, more than $100 in savings.

Rates start at $169 per night and are based on a two-night stay. The offer is available from Friday, March 16 – Saturday, April 15. For more information or reservations, call (423) 756-3400, toll free (877) 756-1684, or visit The Chattanoogan’s Website at

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Southeast, The Tennessee Aquarium takes visitors from a cove forest high in the Appalachian Mountains to a colorful coral reef in the blue depths of the Gulf of Mexico. The Aquarium’s walk-through forests, touch tank experiences and daily animal encounter programs provide guests with incredible face-to-face experiences with fascinating animals from around the world.

Spring Break is an especially exciting time to visit Tennessee Aquarium. From March 10 through April 8, the popular Keeper Kids Program will be offered. The educational, interactive program gives children the chance to get closer to some of the Aquarium’s most amazing animals and discover what it is like to care for them. Little ones may choose two of the almost 20 different activities offered throughout the day, with each program lasting approximately 15 minutes. Options include exploring behind the scenes, meeting penguin experts, feeding feisty otters, making enrichment toys for playful parrots, and learning what it takes to properly wrangle reptiles. Keeper Kids activities are free with Aquarium admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Chattanoogan also offers tickets to other popular family attractions, such as Creative Discovery Museum, Rock City and the Chattanooga Zoo, for an additional fee.

After a fun day of exploring, families will appreciate The Chattanoogan’s beautiful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. Children will be delighted with the indoor swimming pool that has spectacular views of Lookout Mountain, and parents will enjoy  the fitness facility and incredible spa services available at The Chattanoogan Spa.

The Chattanoogan’s Broad Street Grille, a favorite of parents and children, has a children’s menu with numerous selections for young guests. Strouds, The Chattanoogan’s sidewalk espresso café, features delectable made-to-order sandwiches and salads, daily homemade soups, pastries, desserts, and a variety of unique gourmet coffees and teas.

The Chattanoogan, a 210,000 square-foot five-story upscale hotel with 199 guest rooms and suites, has three restaurants, a spa with four treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, fitness center, indoor pool, whirlpool, and patio overlooking the hotel’s courtyard.

The property is conveniently located within a two-hour drive from Atlanta; Nashville, Tenn.; Knoxville, Tenn.; Huntsville, Ala.; and Birmingham, Ala. It is within walking distance of the city’s museums, galleries, retail stores, restaurants and The Tennessee Aquarium.
