THE CHATTANOOGAN HOTEL WELCOMES TRAVELING PETS AS GUESTS

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (February 16, 2010) – The Chattanoogan, Chattanooga’s AAA Four Diamond-rated upscale hotel, is now welcoming four-legged friends. At check-in, pets are greeted with a bag of treats, and families are provided information on where their pet can be walked on property and at nearby parks that welcome pets. While at the hotel, pets must be leashed when out of the guestroom, and there is a 25-pound weight limit for animals. Unlike many other hotels, The Chattanoogan does not charge extra for visiting pets, although guests do pay a $150 refundable security deposit at check-in.

“Traveling with family pets is very important to some of our guests,” said Tom Cupo, general manager of The Chattanoogan. “We are a family-friendly hotel and want to make sure all members of the ‘family’ are welcome and taken care of.”
