He is responsible for coordinating and managing weddings and wedding events at the upscale hotel. Nollinger is delighted to have returned to Chattanooga, and looks forward to working with area brides to customize the weddings of their dreams.
The seasoned wedding professional has 20 years of experience working in event sales and management. Before joining The Chattanoogan, he was the facilities sales director for the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, Mo. Prior to
that position, he was the catering sales manager at Wyndham Peachtree City and Dolce Atlanta-Peachtree in Peachtree City, Ga.
Nollinger has strong ties to the Chattanooga community. From 2005-2008, he was the owner and operator of The White Table, a specialty linen décor firm in Chattanooga. He also spent two years as the general manager and sales and marketing representative for Chair Covers and Linens in Atlanta. In addition, Mr. Nollinger served as the director of catering for Villa Christina in Atlanta and was the vice president of sales and events for Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta.
Nollinger graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y. He has been honored with numerous awards for his work in the wedding industry, including Best Table Décor in the American Cancer Society’s Taste of Chattanooga Fundraiser; Best Wedding Showcase Booth from Chattanooga Premier Bride Wedding Show; and Wedding Professional of the Year and Networker of the Year from The Perfect Wedding Guide.
